Dream Wizard
A game made in one week for the 7DRL 2025
You are dreaming.
You will need to confront something that's been hauting you since a long time... You should be prepared.
Thanksfully, you can learn superfast in your dreams.
Goal
You will go through 10 levels, the goal is to beat whatever is at depth 10. You can use the Learn ability to target a zone. Depending on what is in the zone, you will advance the conditions of your learnings. Once a condition is fulfilled, you gain an upgrade and unlock other learnings.
Learning costs Insights, which you can find in the world.

Everything can be done with the mouse. Additionaly there are some keyboard shortcuts :
Movement (no numpad support):
Q W E \|/ A-S-D /|\ Z X C
- Abilities: 1-5
- List learnings: Tab
- Help: H
- Wait: Space
Tips
- Anticipate what you want to learn (Tab)
- Insights are limited. Make the most of each learning experience ™.
- You don't have to kill everything each floor. Only the final boss.
Killing an enemy don't give you anything outside of increasing your surviving chances.
Game state
The game can be finished and has interesting decisions to make.
The whole is not super-cohesive and there isn't much variety in content.
Balance may be off. It should be beatable but I did not really try yet :p
Appearance is a bit all over the place, with reminiscences of my previous 7DRL entry.
